Generally, the composition of silicon calcium barium aluminum alloy is: Si>30%, Ca>6%, Ba>9%, Al>8 procent.
Under produktionen bør forholdet mellem Al2O3/SiO2, CaO/BaO, (CaO plus BaO)/SiO2 kontrolleres, og mængden af tilsat koks bør kontrolleres.
